The forsaken Gilanshahi of Mazendaran

The full story of the heirs of Uzun Hasan needs to be told. While that of his great grandson Ismail who became the first Safavid Shahanshah is well known, and those of Uzun Hasan’s heirs exiled to Ottoman Turkey are relatively known, those of his Gilanshahi heirs exiled to the Crimean Khanate during the reign of Ismail I, who also exiled his Gilanshahi cousins to Ottoman Turkey, which is my family are not well known.
