On the death of John Tirman

I just learned that my old colleague from mit John Tirman has died
https://cis.mit.edu/in-memory-john-tirman

We had many interactions over the years at mit, including one you can watch at the link below from 45:00 to 46:20 to hear us speak
https://techtv.mit.edu/videos/bebbe319cd854f74a5ed4f1c0931a119/

John tried to create at mit's center for International studies a safe space where members of the Iranian community could interact on important issues.  However, people at mit cis lie bruce posner made trouble for men and other Iranians.  Whatever good Tirman did was negated by many of his colleagues at mit, and it is suspicious ion itself the no funeral or memorial services are planned for him, as he deserves more.

Major Chinese/Pacific Carrier deployments

Recent satellite images of Hainan show major new assets for the Chinese Navy, including the Supercarrier Shandong 17

and the Amphibious Assault Carrier Hainan 31

Note these ships are deployed with the Chinese South Sea Fleet, which is within striking distance of Taiwan with overwhelming force.  While the Hainan 31 has a practical use against Taiwan, the Shandong 17 does not, only to provide overwhelming Chinese air cover.  It does have a practical use against american and Japanese Carrier groups.
Excellent examples of these can be found at Yokosuka, most notably the USS Ronald Reagan CVN-76

Additionally, because of the Chinese military buildup, Japan has built it's own Carriers, starting with the JS Izumo DDH-183

The Izumo, along with it's sister ship JS Kaga DDH-184, deploys F-35 fighters.  In all probability the Chinese Supercarrier deployments are not to attack Taiwan directly, but to confront american Supercarriers, which they are the equal of.

The quality of prison religious meals

When I was in federal, as well as state prisons, they would not accommodate me as a Zoroastrian.  I did notice something interesting with the accommodations made for kosher and halal meals.  They would serve one of four types of frozen meal from a brand called my own meals, which came with kosher and halal certification
https://www.myownmeals.com/

Notice how some of the meals include pinto beans and other types of beans, which are neither kosher or halal, including in the meals they served in prison.
The fact is many inmates will claim to be jewish or muslim simply to make the prison system spend extra money on them.  Little is done about this, however some prison systems do a test of faith to make sure inmates are not lying about their religious background.
The bottom line is no matter your religious background you should know how to make due with whatever resources you have, including food.  If someone says they are jewish or muslim but do not know what is kosher or halal that is suspicious in itself, and they should not be accommodated, as it wastes resources on those who need the religious accommodations and makes things harder for them.

Oddness around the sinking of the IS Khark 431

I just learned the US Naval Institute did a piece on the sinking of the IS Khark 431, Iran's Command/Logistical Support Ship, which was fragged in June 2021.  This includes a satellite image claiming to be the wreck of the IS Khark 431 off Jask in an article about that incident
https://news.usni.org/2021/06/03/loss-of-iranian-navy-ship-mutes-tehrans-global-ambitions-3rd-warship-lost-since-2018#jp-carousel-86393

However, recent satellite images of Jask and the surrounding region show no evidence of any wreck

Either the US Naval Institute did a half assed job reporting the incident, which the american military tends to do regarding Iran, or the Khark has been raised.

More facebook censoring Naval images

Recently facebook has censored more Naval images on my project, this time of the Spanish Navy in Rota
https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=pfbid02SYyyvM4mkSbBWnTRUhQr1R3ndRPqZJNuBGqXmqrfRBfBZaXSxEjgqecHyb2jYNBkl&id=169376436408127
This includes not letting me make the new 3D image of the Spanish Aircraft Carrier SPS Juan Carlos I L-61 and the SPS Reina Sofia F-84 FFG the new album cover

This, along with images of the FFG's SPS Santa Maria F-81, SPS Navarra F-85

SPS Victoria F-82, and the Amphibious Assault Ship SPS Castilla L-52

For all we know facebook may blame this on the recent hack attack it experienced.  Overall, this censorship and mismanagement needs to stop and they need to return the albums back to the pre-meta configuration.

On facebook censoring Naval images in Bahrain

Recently facebook has censored images of the Royal Navy of Bahrain I uploaded to my Worldwide Naval Image project.  This includes an image of the new British acquisition RBNS Al-Zubara 80 along with the rest of Bahrain's Navy

One can also see the RBNS Sabha 90 FFG

Along with the Italian DDG ITS Federico Martinengo F-596

the British Amphibious Assault Ship RFA Lyme Bay L-3007

and the american multirole ship USNS Trenton T-EPF-5

I had the chance to visit the USNS Trenton shortly after it's commissioning when it was JHSV-5

I hope nothing sinister is afoot, but something may be in Khalj Fars.

On censorship of Egyptian Navy

Recent satellite images of Alexandria show an interesting view of the Egyptian Navy

Notice how they try to censor the Amphibious Assault Carrier ENS Gamal Abdel Nasser L-1010 but not the sister ship ENS Anwar El Sadat L-1020

Most important one can see the major new assets of the Egyptian navy in port.  While the submarines, old and new are absent, one can see the Italian built DDG ENS Bernees 1003 and the French built FFG ENS El Fateh 971

Along with the South Korean built FFG ENS Shabab Misr 1000

Most important are the domestically built sisters of the ENS El Fateh the ENS Port Said 976 and ENS Moez 981

This is a total of 2 Aircraft Carriers, 3 DDG's, 13 FFG's and 8 SSK's for the Egyptian Navy.  The only two countries in the region which can compare are Turkey and Iran.  Turkey has 1 Aircraft Carrier, the TCG Anadolu L-400 with another, the TCG Trakya L-401, under construction, 26 FFG's and 14 SSK's, while Iran has 1 multirole Aviation Carrier, the IS Makran 441, 10 FFG's, and 35 SSK's.  Both Turkey and Iran have begun production of domestic built DDG's because of the Egyptian Navy.
It should be noted that this is part of a major buying spree of the Egyptian military.  While Egypt's Navy overwhelms israel's there is little conflict with israel, so the question remains who does Egypt plan to use their new fleet against?  With increasing deployments abroad unlike under Mubarak, and minimal tension with israel, one wonders if Iran is a potential target.

On the zobians business faltering

This recent providence gallery night there was a glaring absence, the zobians gallery z.  Apparently people at gallery night got fed up with berge and his associates and they moved their business to Warwick, in an out of the way location last year
https://www.galleryzprov.com/

Clearly berge and his associates are feeling the heat from the consequences of their actions based on anti-Turkish bigotry disguised as Armenian culture.

More online censorship; British navy assets

At present facebook is playing around with their censorship of my Worldwide Naval image page there.  Today they let me upload major new 3D images of the Royal British Navy, but will not let me arrange the photos in their proper order to make it easier to be viewed.  These include images of the Supercarrier HMS Prince of Wales R-9

 The DDG's HMS Daring D-32

 HMS Diamond D-34

 HMS Defender D-36

 and HMS Duncan D-37

along with the FFG HMS Lancaster F-229

and 2 Hunt class Mine Countermeasure Vessels

Why facebook is doing this waffling is beyond me, but they need to put their albums back to the way they were if they want to avoid the myspace fate.

On new israeli naval assets

Recent satellite images of now uncensored haifa show new and active israeli naval assets in port seen below

Among these are the new German built four Magen class FFG's, one of which is seen in port

One can also see two Eilat class FFG's

Along with a Tanin class SSK

This brings the total main battle strength of the israeli navy to seven FFG's and six SSK's.  Compare that with the nine FFG's and 35 SSK's Iran has in Khalj Fars.

On the death of Sergei Khrushchev

I recently learned that my old friend Sergei Khrushchev was killed mysteriously at the same time I was being held at fort devens

Notice how they do not use the words suicide or murder, which is suspicious in itself, as he could have been killed and had no history of mental instability.
I knew Sergei personally, and this news is shocking, and I want to know why his murder is not being looked into further

On meta censorship over military images

I recently noticed that meta has made the same mistake myspace made in regards to facebook photos.  That is I am unable to arrange photos in the order I want.  This is a major problem for my Worldwide Naval Image project.  As a result I will be sharing only major new images on my sites.

Most important are those from Iran.  Recent images from Bandar Abbas show Iran has greatly increased it's combat capabilities.
This is clear viewing the new FFG's IS Dena 75 and IS Shiraz 78
Even more important is the new Submarine class Fateh, which is being mass produced to greatly increase Iran's naval abilities

Most important are the new IS Makran 441 and Shahid Roudaki, which can transport up to seven helicopters each, along with PT Boats and other Amphibious Assault and Sealift assets, clearly major new additions
I will share more here from Iran and the World as these images become available.
