On personal connection to new nato naval commander

This year Rear Admiral Thorsten Marx was appointed commander of standing nato maritime group one

I had interacted with him in 2012 when he was the commanding officer of the German Destroyer FGS Hessen F-221 during a visit to america

I hope he does not use his command for malicious purposes.
