Odd occurences lately
Yesterday when using the computer at the library in downtown providence I and some other patrons busted library staff who were using computers to spy on patrons there. They thought they could use a snowstorm to mask their actions, but the behavior of the staff, who even got the providence pigs to join in, fished them out along with alert patrons there who knew their tricks.
The day before that I attended a Palestinian event sponsored by a south providence based human rights group. Interestingly enough some of the speakers there spoke about supporting militant acion, which I have advocated for a long time, and some of them were people who 5-6 years ago thought I was a provacetur for supporting militant actions. Now that they think this way when I have been more open about carrying out militant actions how long before they put thought to word?

Certain libraries are spying on users, which is unconstitutional.
We need to file a lawsuit, possibly with the aid of the ACLU.

Peter didn't write that comment about enlisting the ACLU, I did.
Regardless of Peter's political views, it's still illegal for libraries to use spyware to observe patrons surfing habits.
by the way, if Peter was really "racist", I don't think he would have written the following from his December 2005 archives:

I assume he's just calling Obama the n-word because he's angry with him, and knows it riles peoples feathers.
That being said, I still can't condone it.
