Worm in Iran was perfect for sabotaging centrifuges

Experts dissecting the computer worm suspected of being aimed at
Iran’s nuclear program have determined that it was precisely
calibrated in a way that could send nuclear centrifuges wildly out of
control.

Their conclusion, while not definitive, begins to clear some of the fog
around the Stuxnet worm, a malicious program detected this year on
computers, primarily in Iran but also India, Indonesia and other
countries.

The paternity of the worm is still in dispute, but in recent weeks
officials from Israel have broken into wide smiles when asked whether
Israel was behind the attack, or knew who was. American officials have
suggested it originated abroad.

The new forensic work narrows the range of targets and deciphers the
worm’s plan of attack. Computer analysts say Stuxnet does its damage
by making quick changes in the rotational speed of motors, shifting them
rapidly up and down.

Changing the speed “sabotages the normal operation of the industrial
control process,” Eric Chien, a researcher at the computer security
company Symantec, wrote in a blog post.

Those fluctuations, nuclear analysts said in response to the report, are
a recipe for disaster among the thousands of centrifuges spinning in
Iran to enrich uranium, which can fuel reactors or bombs. Rapid changes
can cause them to blow apart. Reports issued by international inspectors
reveal that Iran has experienced many problems keeping its centrifuges
running, with hundreds removed from active service since summer 2009.

Intelligence officials have said they believe that a series of covert
programs are responsible for at least some of that decline. So when Iran
reported this year that it was battling the Stuxnet worm, many experts
immediately suspected that it was a state-sponsored cyberattack.

The computer analysis, Albright’s Wednesday report concluded, “makes
a legitimate case that Stuxnet could indeed disrupt or destroy”
Iranian centrifuge plants.

The latest evidence does not prove Iran was the target, and there have
been no confirmed reports of industrial damage linked to Stuxnet.

News regarding possible Iran-zionist conflict

I just received these today. Though this may seem like saber rattling consider that the zionists mentioned here are desperate people who might take as many people with them as possible. Remember a new generation of jews and israelis is coming of age which is sick of the zionist agenda and these zionists mentioned below know this. Consider also that Iran is being considered the culprit in Missile launches off California and New York, when the former was done by a Chinese Type 94 class SSBN, the latter by a Russian Project 941 class SSBN, and that any excuse is being looked for to attack Iran. Not to mention the usual gohenahang from Iranian dissident groups and their backers which only inflames a possible war.

I pass this along without making any claims to verify its accuracy. From a NYC-based Israeli source, who just returned from Tel Aviv, where he met with senior IDF and Likud figures, including Netanyahu. He is one of the Likud "princes" whose father was one of Menachim Begin's closest personal friends. He is very close with Benny Begin.

During a one week recent stay in Israel, he conferred with a military grouping that he is a part of. They are generally opposed to the Iran war adventure and have a very active position within the current IDF hierarchy. The incoming IDF chief of staff, Gen. Galant, is a very independent-minded soldier, with his own strong views on the folly of an Iran attack. He is no pacifist. He was in charge of the commando units that carried out the Gaza Flotilla operation. He also ran a 16-man commando operation into southern Lebanon, tageting Hezbollah sites, which went afoul. Hezbollah had the capacity to intercept transmissions from Israeli surveillance drones that were coordinating with the commando team, and Hezbollah was able to stage an ambush, that killed 16 members of the IDF team. While the incident was totally hushed up, there is a serious IDF internal probe underway into the failed mission. Despite these setbacks, Galant was made the new COS of the IDF.

There is a serious conflict between MOD Barak and the outgoing COS Ashkenazi, over the way that Barak handled his replacement, appointing Galant months before the February 2011 turnover. Now, the Knesset has shortened the wait time before a retired IDF general can enter politics, from three years to 18 months. Ashkenazi is already planning a challenge to Barak for the chairmanship of the Labor Party in the next election, and he will have a great deal of support in that effort.

Source had a meeting with Netanyahu, and came away concluding that he is completely irrational, and stubbornly refusing to listen to advice, even from Benny Begin. Netanyahu is aware of the weakened political position of Obama, after the Nov. 2 midterm elections, and he plans to take advantage of this weakness to launch a hit against Iran. He has solicited and won the backing of Sarcozy in this. Bibi had several private meetings with Sarcozy. Sarcozy has agreed to support Israel in an attack on Iran, and the recent Anglo-French military alliance, forged during Sarcozy's recent visit to London, could be part of this French support for the Israeli attack on Iran. Shades of Suez 1956? An Israeli-French-British entente? Sarcozy came to this arrangement with Netanyahu, in opposition to the European Union's war-avoidance plans, which involve an approach to Iran, offering lucrative economic deals, if they freeze their nuclear program and remove the pretext for military action. Germany has emerged as the leading channel for this approach to Iran, and Sarcozy, in part, is reacting against Merkel's role in this EU effort.

The Israelis, during the Bush period, developed and partially tested a new bunker-buster weapon, which my source described as a "semi-nuke." This was tested in the past in Nevada and in South Africa, but it still is in the final testing phases, even though approximately 100 of these bombs have already been produced. The concern is that the fallout is strictly contained, and this requires some further refining. At least one of the Iranian sites targeted by Israeli planners is close enough to the Iraq border, that they are deeply concerned that no fallout crosses into areas where there are American forces. F-22 fighter jets "loaned" to Israel by President Bush have now been taken back by Obama, and so the French will provide top of the line Mirage jets to Israel. The French are also providing mid-air refueling for the dozen planes (backed by 250 aircraft altogether) that will carry out the bombing raid.

U.S. intelligence is aware of this situation, and Gates is deeply concerned that the situation has slipped out of any U.S. controls, due to indecision by Obama. This is a factor in Gates' determination to leave the Administration before August 2011.

For Israeli war planners, the biggest fear in not whether the operation itself will succeed or fail. The biggest concern is what will happen the day after. It is already factored into the equation that there will be very strong reactions to such an Israeli attack. The stock markets around the globe will crash, and other chaos could result. Israel will be clearly blamed and even further ostracized for the attack.

Israel is well aware of the Iranian retaliatory capabilities through Hezbollah and Hamas. They know that Iranian support for both groups has tripled in recent months. The strike plan developed by Ashkenazi involves attacks on southern Lebanon and Gaza, as the planes take off for their targets inside Iran.

Israeli war planners are aware of, and are factoring in several other possibilities. First, there is a belief that Syria could make a military move to take back the Golan Heights as Israeli forces are focused on these other targets. There is also a possibility of a military coup in Egypt, to prevent the succession of President Mubarak's son Gamal. Egypt could move into certain areas of the Sinai still held by Israel.

Israel is also aware of the danger of Pakistani strikes against Israel, in retaliation for the bombing of Iran. A French delegation is in Pakistan, in an effort to derail any Pakistani retaliation against Israel, which, of course, could involve the use of nuclear weapons, which would wipe Israel off the map.

Netanyahu does not have the support of even the Begin faction of Likud for this action. And if the attack takes place after February, when Gen. Galant takes over as COS of the IDF, he will refuse. Source suggests that Netanyahu has significant respect for Bill and Hillary Clinton, and they could possibly dissuade him from taking this reckless action. There was last week an eight-and-a-half hour meeting between Bibi and Hillary, and when she came out she said, "We still don't see eye-to-eye." The prospect of some kind of political deal or shakeup in Israel, in which Kadima could come into a grand secular coalition and kill this crazy war scheme, is not very real. Source believes that Avigdor Lieberman has sufficient power to block any move to oust him. He is too powerful to dump. Benny Begin met with him at length to get him to tone down the rhetoric. He was not particularly successful. He has built up a tremendous power base among the one million-plus Russian emigre.

When might such an operation be launched? My source believes that, if it does not happen before December 10, it will next be on the table for March or April 2011. Netanyahu is considering, but has not finalized in his mind, to order strikes in late November 2010. All IDF vacations have been suspended as of this week; and IDF officers studying abroad have been summoned home temporarily. The line circulating around is: "No repeat of the Yom Kippur War when Israel was caught by surprise."

November 5, 2010: The head of Israeli military
intelligence warned his political superiors that the next major war
Israel encountered would likely result in much higher Israeli
casualties, especially to civilians (because) enemy missiles have a much longer reach, and can hit targets
throughout Israel. The Iranian master plan is for Hezbollah, Hamas, Syria and Iran to simultaneously fire as
many missiles and rockets into Israel as they can...If the Syrians used chemical warheads,
Israeli casualties could be as high as 16,000. Over 200,000 Israelis
would be left homeless, and it's believed about a 100,000 would seek
to leave the country...No unclassified government planning documents have
discussed what Israel would do in response to such an attack, but in
the past, Israel has threatened to use nukes against anyone who fired
chemical weapons at Israel (which does not have any chemical
weapons). But current plans appear to try and keep it non-nuclear for
as long as possible.

Israel commentator Emanuel Winston is panicking already:"They will target Israeli cities with a saturation missile attack. Therefore, Israel has no valid reason to follow any rules of retrained warfare...Consequently, Israel’s rules of engagement should first authorize preemptive attacks to hit all Arab/Muslim cities – including the small towns where Hezb’Allah has implanted missile launchers among their civilians, to strike every military base and, specifically, to take out key leaders hidden in their bunkers. This should be done with tactical nukes, air fuel bombs, sub-munition bomblets, EMP (Electro-Magnetic-Pulse) explosives that disable every computer-driven vehicle or gadget – in addition to every conventional weapon available. "

And well he should panic. What Israel's military leaders are now saying publicly is merely a hint, not the likely gruesome assessments for the actual Arab master plan going into effect. Summarized one would read:

The plan was to prevent Israel from getting organized by defeating it immediately in an assault of 80,000 missiles in one night. Israel has no defense against even one missile and would collapse quickly in the face of a torrent of rocket fire.
The attack began at 11 PM on a Friday night. Half the army was at home on Shabbat leaves, and in Tel Aviv thousands of young soldiers were in dance clubs. Tel Aviv was the city targeted with 10,000 missiles, many accurate to within a few meters. At 11:04 the missiles landed on the clubs. Dancing was exchanged for death in an instant. Sirens throughout the country alerted the citizenry of the attack but already it was too late for hundreds of victims. Missiles successfully struck the Reading and Hadera power plants and the coast went black. Attacks on the Paz Junction fuel depot caused a huge fireball that spread the flames through North Tel Aviv as far as Herzlia. Those trapped in rubble or fire had no one to extricate them. Even if rescue teams and ambulances could make it through the rutted streets, the searing heat, the encompassing darkness punctuated by the outlines of buildings engulfed in fire, it would have made no difference. Hospitals like Ichilov and Sheba were on their way to becoming gutted ruins.
In concert with Tel Aviv in deadly chaos, waves of missiles attacked airbases, especially Tel Nof and Nir David. Runways were unusable and crews were too overwhelmed to be effective. A combination of Russian surface to air missiles and deep bunkers would have made missions to neutralize the missile sites daunting in any case. With the Air Force barely functioning, the barrage was enjoying unforeseen freedom to continue with all its aims. Learning the lessons of the '06 war, the Israeli Navy was subjected to vicious land to sea missile attacks. Damage to the Dimona Nuclear Power Reactor threatens to become uncontrollable.
Jerusalem was barely targeted, but the destruction of the Knesset and the Israel Museum were deemed justifiable targets. The Dead Sea Scrolls are presumed to have charred beyond recognition in this attack of 70 pinpoint missiles.
Hizbullah and Hamas fifth columns in Israel carried out precise attacks on roads, blowing deep pits in them at locations which could not be bypassed. The army could not reach endangered villages. A 5000 man Hizbullah force has broken through to Metulla and is conducting door to door operations. Even the city's leftists who caused the growing tragedy by appeasing the Islam of permanent war, were not spared.
On the Judean Hills, settlers watched an orange glow on the horizon, interrupted only by missiles landing or gas pipes exploding. Tel Aviv was dying. Those Tel Avivans who could, escaped to the Negev where local tribes and Gazans, who poured into the desert looking for easy pickings, found them. At Hebron, an IDF radio plea to save the Jews there was most telling. "We need reinforcements. We're almost out of ammunition and we are surrounded by a hundred thousand Arabs." The reply was curt and distressing. "All roads are impassible. You're on your own."
What happened there is illustrative of the mass execution of Israelis throughout the new nation of Palestine. Gangs would barge into homes, keep the parents alive long enough to see their children raped, tortured and murdered. Then the husband would be forced to watch his wife slowly screaming in agony while mutilated and raped. The husband, who until recently had a slogan, "Never Again," now knows Never is back bigger and faster than ever. If he's lucky, he'll be kept alive for only and hour or two of violent Islamic justice.
As for God, He didn't show up. We assume He's out of miracles.

Why Caprio lost

Like many in RI the results of the governor’s race has me upset. Frank Caprio, one of the few honest political leaders and a superb jurist, lost the race for governor after starting out with a strong lead in the polls. I and many who know Frank and the Caprios are in as much shock as the rest of the state. As with any loss by a prominent person many rumors are being kicked around as to why this loss occurred. Here I will sift through the reasons why, separating fact from fiction, for a unique perspective of one who knows the candidates and people involved, and was sought after by many in the race to work on their team.
The conclusion that Caprio’s “Shove it” remark was the killer is simply a convenient excuse. While some in RI were mad at him for that remark, nationally it made him a hero, for finally a prominent member of the Democratic party had the courage to stand up to those in the party who were giving it a bad reputation with their failed politics, namely those affiliated with the group acorn. Those who were at the Biltmore on election night will recall I had a confrontation with an acorn member in the mens room after he had broken a toilet, and others there present not only felt uncomfortable around acorn members present but experienced health problems as well, and I and others had arguments with many acorn members that night there as well. These are the same acorn punks who played a role in the 2010 races for providence mayor and 1st congressional district who backed linc chafee against Frank Caprio. While the “Shove it” may have caused short term hurt it was good in the long run for it builds momentum for the Democratic party to go after the rot and make itself stronger.
If anything a comment I had made to lincoln chafee at the RI state house on April 29, 2010 where I cussed him out in the Governor’s reception room when he approached me acting as if he didn’t recognize me. While my outburst may have been well deserved it prevented me from providing open assistance to the Caprio team for it would have provided any substance for any negative rumors spread by Caprio’s opponents, and Caprio’s family and friends agreed that I made a wise move by not openly campaigning for Frank Caprio after my outburst, as the negative attacks and rumors did enough damage as it was. Few even realize that the circumstances leading up to that particular incident were coincidental. The night before RI’s Mental Health Advocate had told me to meet him there on that date and time to handle an emergency situation that had arisen last night before, not notifying me of anything that was to go on at the RI state house beforehand. To make matters worse the event was being covered by wjar, who I had serious issues with after the ruined the life of someone close to me in 2008. Furthermore, several other candidates had asked for my involvement in their campaigns and followed me online as an information other than Caprio and Chafee, including Ken Block, Robert Healey, John Lombardi, Chris Young, and Kara Russo, which underscores the real reason for that incident not being political, but one personal stemming back to a dispute with brown university.
Despite the fact that Caprio used me as a source of information he didn’t always use the information and resources he had at hand, no matter who it was from. This was apparent in the debates and in responses to personal attacks from other candidates. For instance he did not relate his family’s experiences in immigrating to america early on in the campaign when discussing illegal immigrants in RI, thus losing the empathy of the larger latino/hispanic community which make that a major issue. When dealing with the lgbt community on the issue of same-sex marriage he stumbled there as well. When a lgbt goup pulled it’s support for his proposing that same-sex marriage be put to a voter initiave he could have drawn on the knowledge of the Judges of his father’s providence Municipal Court, who know that living conditions for married couples, be they straight or lgbt, are such that to get married in RI is to only make one’s living condition worse, hence the support of a popular vote. If anything during debates Frank Caprio seemed off on certain issues and in debates with more than four candidates let the independent candidates sound off on the tough issues. One example is how in July 2010 during a debate on health care Caprio said something nice about RI district court judge erickson, who had been profiled in the news recently. What Caprio forgot is that judge erickson’s policies of committing people into treatment programs only made lives worse for people by putting normal people into programs which caused health problems for them, putting a drain on the health care system, and which was responsible for causing prison overcrowding by imprisoning people who fought back against treatment. This lapse was noticed by linc chafee, who got erickson on his campaign team, and the only person in the mainstream media who picked up on this was former Providence mayor Cianci. Despite being a Harvard graduate he failed to discuss the programs Harvard has where poor people who have talent can use them to find work, and had he done so he would have struck a strong cord with many of his low income supporters.
This leads into another factor, out of all the leading candidates for Governor Caprio made himself hard to access. His campaign hq was in a location far away from a bus route, unlike chafee, robitaille, or Block, and despite his popularity he did not put a schedule of appearances like chafee and Block did. This made it difficult for many of his supporters, particularly independent voters who were big Caprio supporters could not get to his events, and many felt disappointed in not being able to get more personally involved. Just as bad was that his supporters were not always properly notified in advance of events, with the exception of the Bill Clinton visits. For instance Caprio supporters were not notified of the October 14, 2010 debate until hours before it occurred, thus preventing key supporters from attending. I know this as I revieved the e-mail notifying me of that debate only a few hours before when I was in Westerly, and I was too far away to make it there in time, and had I been there it is certain the tide of the debate would have went in his favor. If anyone doubts this ask those who attended the October 29, 2010 debate, they will remember that once I chimed in from the audience wjar’s people didn’t dare stop audience reactions. Overall, blame for this lapse of not connecting with the people in a more open manner must lay with his campaign staff.
Even worse were those endorsing Caprio when they were really causing problems for him. For instance the providence journal endorsed Caprio while it’s reporters made him look negative and gave prominent coverage to chafee, therefore making no positive endorsement. Another twofaced Caprio supporter was Alfred carpionato, who raised money for Caprio while making living conditions for some of his tenants difficult, even to the point of disenfranchising them from voting, thus attacking a potential source of votes for Caprio. Had Caprio addressed this he could have had a stronger support base.
If anything the media was strongly anti-Caprio, if not totally allowing every cheap shot to be made at Frank Caprio and his family, even tolerating racist attacks against him. The phoenix, golocalprov, wjar, and twitter were and continue to be at the forefront of these attacks, and even the providence journal continues with hardly anyone in the local mainstream media.
Overall, this 2010 loss for the Caprio’s is not their own fault, rather that of those around them who did not realize the resources they had at their disposal. If Frank Caprio wants to be Governor in 2014 he will need to surround himself with people who are sharp and in touch with the people and his supporters, open and covert, and will have to stand up to the rot in the Democrat party that is acorn which cost him the governor’s race and did to the Democrats in 2010 what the neocons did to the Republicans in 2006. Dishing the facts on sissyweenie's Ri congressional run

Those voters in RI’s 1st congressional district who think that they are doing good by voting for the sodomite who is in the mayor’s office needs to think again. Anyone who takes a hard look at his past deeds will realize they are voting for someone as bad as the devil.
As a RI state representative he only came out as being gay after investigations and inquiries regarding reports of him raping other men. During this period he also tampered with evidence in the operation plunder dome trial. As a lawyer he often dropped the ball on many cases, most of his courtroom victories the result of backroom dealings and press manipulation rather than courtroom litigation.
As mayor sissyweenie took providence straight to hell in a handbasket. He hired a police chief with no experience as a street officer who implemented aggressive policing tactics, which only increased crime by often mistreating people, innocent or guilty, and thus turning the city into a powder keg. Amazingly he and those at city hall ignored the fact that crime went down in the last city this person was chief, Stamford CT, once he took the job in providence, and his “reforms” in Stamford were undone. The Providence Firefighters had it bad under sissyweenie, for not only would he not give them a contract but he cut funding to the fire department and withheld essential materials and information from them. For instance, he felt it was unnecessary for them to know if habitual prank 911 callers had infectious diseases like AIDS. He gave bloated salaries to city officials who often did nothing at work, for example most of the staff at the providence public library not only did nothing but used their jobs to snoop on their patrons. This rot in city hall led to businesses not wanting to do business in providence, and the only businesses that have thrived are those few with a large consumer base or those that are corrupt. An example is sissyweenie’s alma mater brown university. During his administration brown brought up real estate for commercial use, expanded it’s medical program to include legalized medical torture of people in experiments, while gutting it’s academics and using it’s police and security to harass their opponents, particularly the poor in the area.
The poor of providence suffered the most during sissyweenie’s administration. Not only did he subject them to repeated police harassment and job discrimination, but social services have suffered, be it soup kitchens, food pantries, and drop in centers closing down or cutting back services and many housing developments have shut down. Despite this sissyweenie claims to be a friend of the poor.
If this piece of human shit gets into congress things will get worse fast for RI and for America, and even members of sissyweenie’s own party realize this. Hopefully, he will be stopped in time.

Coding of Virus Attacking Iran May Refer to Queen Esther

Moslehi said Sunday that his country is under cyber attack, and blamed
the United States and Israel. Iranian officials initially admitted that
their country had been hit by the Stuxnet computer worm, but insisted
that the damage was minimal.

Iran has been forced to push back the opening of the nuclear plant in
Bushehr. Senior Information and Technology official Hamid Alipour
admitted that while Iranian officials had hoped to clean up the worm's
infiltration in under two months, that hope had been proven unrealistic.
“The worm is not stable, and since we started the cleanup process,
three new versions have been spreading,” he said.

Stuxnet hit Iran much harder than any other nation, affecting an
estimated 62,000 systems. A total of 100,000 computers are thought to
have been hit with the worm worldwide. The worm was designed to target
software created by the German company Siemens; Iran relies heavily on
Siemens systems.

Israel has been among the top suspects in the creation of the Stuxnet
worm, due both to Israeli opposition to Iran's unsupervised nuclear
program, and to the complexity of the attacker, which experts say could
only have been created by a team with significant funding, resources and
expertise.

Stuxnet is uniquely dangerous in that it can not only cause damage to a
system, but can take control of facilities, producing physical,
real-world results to an attack. The worm also studies its targets,
determining which type of system it has entered before deciding whether
or not to attack. To date, it has entered primarily systems that control
critical infrastructure.

Even the worm's discovery has not stopped its destructive power.
Attackers remain able to communicate with infected machines using
peer-to-peer networking.

A detailed analysis released by security firm Symantec revealed two
clues that, according to Wired.com, may indicate Israeli involvement in
the attack – or may indicate that another country is trying to
implicate Israel in the attack. Two file directory names, “myrtus”
and “guava,” could be an allusion to the biblical Queen Esther, who
intervened to save the Jewish people from destruction at the hands of a
Persian king. Persia is now known as Iran.

Esther was also known as Hadassah, a name which means “myrtle” in
Hebrew. Guavas are in the myrtle family of fruit.

A second possible hint at Israeli involvement is the halt marker
19790509, a possible reference to the date May 9, 1979, when Iran
executed Persian Jew Habib Elghanian, prompting the mass exodus of
Iranian Jews from the newly Islamic state.

The Symantec analysis was released in an attempt to get information on
what, exactly, Stuxnet is targeting.

Queen Esther seems to be a ubiquitous symbol, imagined or otherwise. Two
years ago, an Egyptian cleric called for a boycott of Starbucks' Coffee
after he claimed to have identified the image of Queen Esther in its
logo.

This came the day after I sent an e-mail to linc’s brother greg, who I know from the world affairs council RI/hope club, as he is president of wacri, asking him why I continue to receive wac mailings one year after my membership had been terminated. Essentially, my membership with wacri was cut after an outburst at having to be put in the same room with the person who directed me to the bupd hq on April 14, 2008, a catherine hanni, who I learned was a board member of wacri, and had I know that beforehand I never would have been involved with them. That is one example of linc’s cronyism. While Buddy Cianci has called out linc for his goldman sucks ties through brown most people forget about linc’s cfr cronies who he and I dealt with while we were both at watson. Notice how people ignore the fact that he was let out of his contract with brown/watson so he could run for governor but dick holbrooke was allowed to remain a professor at large while campaigning for the dyke clinton and while doing dirty work for that same dyke in Iran/Afghanistan/Pakistan once she became secretary of state. While linc followed me out of salomon in October 2007 after I made a jackass out if dick during his lecture there linc certainly went silent during my legal dealings with brown. Then again, seeing how many of his finaicial backers in RI are cronies of that bank, washington trust, it is not surprising that linc is chicken to go against the tide against his own cash cronies.
And as usual NOBODY has taken up my offers to share documents, be it the wac mailings I received or in regards to linc’s cronies, or the cronies of any other candidate. Apparently most people out here are afraid to put their money where their mouth is.

Open letter to michael savage on Iran

For too long you have been making anti-Iranian rants on your radio show, you have incited people to attack Iran, celebrated whenever something bad has happened to Iran, and shown a complete ignorance of Iranian affairs, history, and culture. Worse, you are doing this at a time when Iran is being menaced by a potential attack from america or it’s zionist puppet israel, two allies who betrayed Iran in the 1970’s, and I and others are fed up with you bashing our heritage and culture. Here I will address the problem I and other Iranians have with your rants.
You continue to bash the nation of Iran, constantly referring to Ahmadinejad as “the hitler of Iran”, bashing Iran’s government, military, economy, and history. You have even said on your show that bombing Iran would make Iranians everywhere free. By you saying these you show you are an ignorant bigot who hides behind a radio studio and bloated PhD’s which were given to you in subjects NOT related to politics, military science, or the history and culture of Iran and the region. Rather, you spew the brainwash which was foistered on you in the public school system of new york city which ruined the minds of entire generations and created ignorance among such a large segment of america’s population that it was one factor in america’s decline and cultural degeneracy, not to mention the reason for people in authority who deprived many people from Iran and other parts of the World of their rights and the reason many suffered abuses at the hands of america’s government and society, particularly before the 1960’s. Had you put aside your bigotry you would have noticed that many allegations of human rights violations in Iran are based on heresay and lies, and that people under Ahmadinejad have more rights than they did under khomeini. You would have seen that the “green movement” was the creation of dick holbrooke and the council on foreign relations, the very people you claim to despise. You apparently don’t realize that the revolution on 1978-9 in Iran only succeeded because america and israel decided to back khomeini against Iran’s legitimate ruler, Mohammed Reza Shah, or do you forget how Iran had been kind to jews since the time of Daryush and had saved them many times, or that the first country to defeat George III’s England was Iran under Karim Khan Zand, five years before the conflict at Lexington and Concord, and that this action was just one in a line of betrayals by those countries. Then again, you don’t understand Farsi, for if you did you would know that Ahmadinejad said he would wipe Zionism of the map, NOT israel.
Which leads me to the second concern. You are an overt zionist, support israel right or wrong, and tout judaic values as if they are the greatest thing on earth. Not once do you mention Zoroaster, Zoroastrianism, or the fact that much of Judaism, including kashrut law, comes from Zoroasrianism, or are you afraid to acknowledge the Iranian roots of faiths like judaism, christianity, and islam? I bet you are too afraid to meet with Rabbi Dov Weiss, like I and Ahmadinejad have done on separate occasions. You would have probably cowered if you had been anywhere near the picket line I and Rabbi Weiss was and when confronting mort klein in October 2004, where Rabbi and klein had an excellent conversation on how the coming of the jewish messiah and the reemergence of the new israel will be a metaphysical one, not the physical one the zionists did, like you cower whenever a protest march comes anywhere near you like you have said on the air many times. Then again, you probably ignore facts like how herzl was censored for advocating pedophilia and making open threats to heads of state, or how the rothschilds treatd jews harshly on the yishuv settlements of Palestine, or how lord Rothschild persuaded balfour to act only once he knew Jerusalem was under british control in October 1917, or how the Zionists collaborated with the Rothschild grandson adolf hitler and other Nazis who hated jews because they were encouraged to by jews in German society to bring about the holocaust, which was essentially the massacre of jews by other jews for power control.. Then again you are probably proud of this, as you glorify zionist massacres of Palestinians and other civilians as acts of patriotism. You even ignore that Judaic values are the basis of the abuses and tortures among christians and muslims and that those values are the real rot of western civilization, NOT the foreigners you like to scapegoat on the air and in print.
Then again, what else can we expect from one as you? You who admit that you are afraid to debate your views with anyone in any forum except on your radio show where you repeatedly twist people’s words out of context. You who can’t understand that which does not conform to your own mindset and who labels the very same in a negative manner which only causes conflict. You who compare yourself to Paul Revere while behaving like Julius Streicher. How can we expect you to even understand anything about Iran when you can’t understand the World you live in? Know this mr. new york city jew that in the neighborhood you grew up in were many people of Iranian ancestry who had Muslim ancestors, including my grandfather who ran a lab and clinic in Mount Vernon near the Bronx and Yonkers, who was one of your doctors as a kid. Iranians like him who went through worse than you and your family helped bring you into the World, people like me are more than capable of bringing you out of it.

Excellencies,

Ladies and Gentlemen,



I am grateful to the Almighty God who granted me the opportunity to appear before this world assembly once again. I wish to begin by commemorating those who lost their lives in the horrible flood in Pakistan and express my heartfelt sympathy with the families who lost their loved ones as well as with the people and the government of Pakistan. I urge everyone to assist their fellow men and women as a humane duty.



Let me thank H.E. Mr. Ali Abdussalam Treki, the President of the he sixty-fourth session of the United Nations General Assembly, for all his efforts during his tenure. I also would like to congratulate H.E. Mr. Joseph Deiss, the President of the sixty-fifth session of the United Nations General Assembly and wish him all success.



In the past years, I spoke to you about some of the hopes and concerns, including family crises, security, human dignity, world economy, climate change as well as the aspiration for justice and lasting peace.



After about one hundred years of domination, the system of Capitalism and the existing world order has proved to be unable to provide appropriate solution to the problems of societies, thus coming to an end. I shall try to examine the two main causes of this failure and picture some features of the ideal future order.







A) Attitudes and Beliefs

As you are well aware, the divine prophets had the mission to call everyone to monotheism, love and justice and show mankind the path to prosperity. They invite men to contemplation and knowledge in order to better appreciate the truth and to avoid atheism and egoism. The very nature of the message of all prophets is one and the same. Every messenger endorsed the messenger before him and gave glad tidings about the prophet to come, and presented a more complete version of the religion in accordance with the capacity of the man at the time. This continued up to the last messenger of God who presented the perfect and all inclusive religion.



In opposition to that, the egotist and the greedy stood up against this clear call, revolting against the message.



Nimrod countered Hazrat Abraham, Pharaoh countered Hazrat Moses and the greedy countered Hazrat Jesus Christ and Hazrat Mohammad (Peace be upon them all). In the recent centuries, the human ethics and values have been rejected as a cause for backwardness. They were even portrayed as opposing wisdom and science because of the earlier infliction on man by the proclaimers of religion in the dark ages of the West



Man's disconnection from Heaven detached him from his true self.



Man with his potentials for understanding the secrets of the universe, his instinct for seeking truth, his aspirations for justice and perfection, his quest for beauty and purity and his capacity to represent God on earth was reduced to a creature limited to the materialistic world with a mission to maximize individualistic pleasures. Human instinct, then, replaced true human nature.



Human beings and nations were considered rivals and the happiness of an individual or a nation was defined in collision with, and elimination or suppression of others. Constructive evolutionary cooperation was replaced with a destructive struggle for survival.



The lust for capital and domination replaced monotheism which is the gate to love and unity.



This widespread clash of the egoist with the divine values gave way to slavery and colonialism. A large portion of the world came under the domination of a few western States. Tens of millions of people were taken to slavery and tens of millions of families were shattered as a result. All the resources, the rights and the cultures of the colonized nations were plundered. Lands were occupied and the indigenous people were humiliated and mass- murdered.



Yet, nations rose up, colonialism was alienated and the independence of the nations was recognized. Thus, the hope for respect, prosperity and security was revived amongst nations. In the beginning of the past century nice talks about freedom, human rights and democracy created hopes for healing the deep wounds of the past. Today, however, not only those dreams are not realized, but memories, even at times worse than before, have been recorded.



As a result of the two World Wars, the occupation of Palestine, the Korean and the Vietnam's Wars, the Iraqi war against Iran, the occupation of Afghanistan and Iraq as well as many wars in Africa, hundreds of millions of people were killed, wounded or displaced.



Terrorism, illicit drugs, poverty and the social gaps increased. The dictatorial and coup d'etat governments in Latin America committed unprecedented crimes with the support of the West.



Instead of disarmament, the proliferation and stockpiling of nuclear, biological and chemical weapons expanded, putting the world under a bigger threat. As a result, the very same old goals of colonialists and the slave masters were, this time round, pursued with a new façade.



B) The Global Management and Ruling Structures

The League of Nations and, then, the United Nations were established with the promise to bring about peace, security and the realization of human rights, which in fact meant a global management.



One can analyze the current governance of the world by examining three events:

First, the event of the 11 September 2001 which has affected the whole world for almost a decade.



All of a sudden, the news of the attack on the twin towers was broadcast using numerous footages of the incident.



Almost all governments and known figures strongly condemned this incident.



But then a propaganda machine came into full force; it was implied that the whole world was exposed to a huge danger, namely terrorism, and that the only way to save the world would be to deploy forces into Afghanistan.



Eventually Afghanistan, and shortly thereafter Iraq were occupied.



Please take note:



It was said that some three thousands people were killed on the 11 September for which we are all very saddened. Yet, up until now, in Afghanistan and Iraq hundreds of thousands of people have been killed, millions wounded and displaced and the conflict is still going on and expanding.



In identifying those responsible for the attack, there were three viewpoints.

1- That a very powerful and complex terrorist group, able to successfully cross all layers of the American intelligence and security, carried out the attack.

This is the main viewpoint advocated by American statesmen.



2- That some segments within the U.S. government orchestrated the attack to reverse the declining American economy and its grips on the Middle East in order also to save the Zionist regime.

The majority of the American people as well as other nations and politicians agree with this view.



3- It was carried out by a terrorist group but the American government supported and took advantage of the situation. Apparently, this viewpoint has fewer proponents.



The main evidence linking the incident was a few passports found in the huge volume of rubble and a video of an individual whose place of domicile was unknown but it was announced that he had been involved in oil deals with some American officials. It was also covered up and said that due to the explosion and fire no trace of the suicide attackers was found.



There remain, however, a few questions to be answered:



1- Would it not have been sensible that first a thorough investigation should have been conducted by independent groups to conclusively identify the elements involved in the attack and then map out a rational plan to take measures against them?



2- Assuming the viewpoint of the American government, is it rational to launch a classic war through widespread deployment of troops that led to the death of hundreds of thousands of people to counter a terrorist group?



3- Was it not possible to act the way Iran countered the Riggi terrorist group who killed and wounded 400 innocent people in Iran. In the Iranian operation no innocent person was hurt.



It is proposed that the United Nations set up an independent fact-finding group for the event of the 11 September so that in the future expressing views about it is not forbidden.



I wish to announce here that next year the Islamic Republic of Iran will host a conference to study terrorism and the means to confront it. I invite officials, scholars, thinkers, researchers and research institutes of all countries to attend this conference.



Second, is the occupation of the Palestinian territories

The oppressed people of Palestine have lived under the rule of an occupying regime for 60 years, been deprived of freedom, security and the right to self-determination, while the occupiers are given recognition. On a daily basis, the houses are being destroyed over the heads of innocent women and children. People are deprived of water, food and medicine in their own homeland. The Zionists have imposed five all-out wars on the neighboring countries and on the Palestinian people.



The Zionists committed the most horrible crimes against the defenseless people in the wars against Lebanon and Gaza.



The Zionist regime attacked a humanitarian flotilla in a blatant defiance of all international norms and kills the civilians.



This regime which enjoys the absolute support of some western countries regularly threatens the countries in the region and continues publicly announced assassination of Palestinian figures and others, while Palestinian defenders and those opposing this regime are pressured, labeled as terrorists and anti Semites. All values, even the freedom of expression, in Europe and in the United States are being sacrificed at the altar of Zionism.



Solutions are doomed to fail because the right of the Palestinian people is not taken into account.



Would we have witnessed such horrendous crimes if instead of recognizing the occupation, the sovereign right of the Palestinian people had been recognized?



Our unambiguous proposition is the return of the Palestinian refugees to their home land and the reference to the vote of the people of Palestine to exercise their sovereignty and decide on the type of governance.



Third, is the nuclear energy

Nuclear energy is clean and cheap and a heavenly gift which is amongst the most suitable alternatives to cut the pollutions emanating from fossil fuels.



The Non- Proliferation Treaty (NPT) allows all member States to use nuclear energy without limits and the International Atomic Energy Agency is mandated to provide member States with technical and legal support.



The nuclear bomb is the worst inhumane weapon and which must totally be eliminated. The NPT prohibits its development and stockpiling and calls for nuclear disarmament.



Nonetheless, note what some of the permanent members of the Security Council and nuclear bomb holders have done:



They have equated nuclear energy with the nuclear bomb, and have distanced this energy from the reach of most of nations by establishing monopolies and pressuring the IAEA. While at the same time, they have continued to maintain, expand and upgrade their own nuclear arsenals.



This has entailed the following:



Not only the nuclear disarmament has not been realized but also nuclear bombs have been proliferated in some regions, including by the occupying and intimidating Zionist regime.



I would like here to propose that the year 2011 be proclaimed the year of nuclear disarmament and "Nuclear Energy for all, Nuclear Weapons for None".



In all these cases the United Nations has been unable to take any effective course of action. Unfortunately, in the decade proclaimed as the "International Decade for the Culture of Peace" hundreds of thousands were killed and injured as a result of war, aggression and occupation, and hostilities and antagonism increased.

Very recently the world witnessed the ugly and inhumane act of burning the Holy Quran.



The Holy Quran is the Divine Book and the eternal miracle of the Prophet of Islam. It calls for worshipping the One God, justice, compassion toward people, development and progress, reflection and thinking, defending the oppressed and resisting against the oppressors; and it names with respect the previous Messengers of God, like Noah, Abraham, Isaaq, Joseph, Moses and Jesus Christ (Peace be Upon them all) and endorses them.. They burned Quran to burn all these truths and good judgments. However, the truth could not be burned. Quran is eternal because God and truth are everlasting. This act and any other act which widens the gap and distances between nations is evil. We should wisely avoid playing into the hands of Satan. On behalf of the Iranian nation I pay respect to all Divine Books and their followers. This is the Quran and this is the Bible. I pay respect to both of them.

For years the inefficiency of the capitalism and the existing world management and structures has been exposed and the majority of States and nations have been on a quest for fundamental changes and for the prevalence of justice in global relations.



The cause of the United Nation's ineptitude is in its unjust structure. Major power is monopolized in the Security Council due to the veto privilege, and the main pillar of the Organization, namely the General Assembly, is marginalized.



In the past several decades, at least one of the permanent members of the Security Council has always been a party to the disputes.



The veto advantage grants impunity to aggression and occupation; How could, therefore, one expect competence while both the judge and the prosecutor are a party to the dispute?



Had Iran enjoyed veto privilege, would the Security Council and the IAEA Director General have taken the same position in the nuclear issue?



Dear Friends,

The United Nations is the key center for coordinating the common global management. Its structure needs to be reformed in a manner that all independent States and nations be able to participate in the global governance actively and constructively.



The veto privilege should be revoked and the General Assembly should be the highest body and the Secretary-General should be the most independent official and all his positions and activities should be taken with the approval of the General Assembly and should be directed towards promoting justice and eliminating discrimination.



The Secretary-General should not come under pressure from powers and/or the country hosting the Organization for his stating the truth and administration of justice.



It is suggested that the General Assembly should, within one year and in the framework of an extraordinary session, finalize the reformation of the Organization's structure



The Islamic Republic of Iran has clear suggestions in this regard and stands ready to participate actively and constructively in the process.



Ladies and Gentlemen,

I announce clearly that the occupation of other countries under the pretext of freedom and democracy is an unforgivable crime.



The world needs the logic of compassion and justice and inclusive participation instead of logic of force, domination, unilateralism, war and intimidation.



The world needs to be governed by virtuous people like the Divine Prophets.



The two vast geographical spheres, namely Africa and Latin America, have gone through historic developments during the past decades. The new approaches in these two continents, which are based on increasing level of integration and unity as well as on localizing the growth and development models, have born considerable fruits to the peoples of those regions. The awareness and wisdom of the leaders of these two continents has overcome the regional problems and crises without the domineering interference of non-regional powers.



The Islamic Republic of Iran has expanded its relations with the Latin America and Africa in all aspects in recent years.



And about the glorious Iran,

The Tehran Declaration was a hugely constructive step in confidence building efforts which was made possible through the admirable good will by the governments of Brazil and Turkey along with the sincere cooperation of the Iranian government. Although the Declaration received inappropriate reaction by some and was followed by an unlawful resolution, it is still valid.



We have observed the regulations of the IAEA more than our commitments, yet, we have never submitted to illegally imposed pressures nor will we ever do so.



It has been said that they want to pressure Iran into a dialogue. Well, firstly, Iran has always been ready for a dialogue based on respect and justice. Secondly, methods based on disrespecting nations have long become ineffective. Those who have used intimidation and sanctions in response to the clear logic of the Iranian nation are in real terms destroying the remaining credibility of the Security Council and the trust of nations for this body, proving once and again how unjust is the function of the Council.



When they threaten a great nation such as Iran which is known throughout history for its scientists, poets, artists and philosophers and whose culture and civilization is synonymous to purity, submission to God and seeking justice, how can they ever expect that other nations grow confidence on them?



It goes without saying that domineering methods in managing the world has failed. Not only has the era of slavery and colonialism and dominating the world passed, the path to the reviving old Empires are blocked, too.



We have announced that we stand ready for a serious and free debate with the American Statesmen to express our transparent views on issues of importance to the world in this very venue.



It is proposed here that in order to have a constructive dialogue, an annual free debate be organized within the General Assembly.

In making a world full of purity, safety and prosperity people are not rivals but companions.



Those who see their happiness but in the sorrow of others and their welfare and safety but in others' insecurity, those who see themselves superior to others, are out of the path of humanity and are in evil’s course.



Economy and materialistic means are only some tools to serve others, to create friendship and strengthen human connections for spiritual perfection. They are not tools for show-off or means of dominating others.



Men and women complements each other and family unit with pure, loving and long-lasting relation of the spouses in its center is the guarantee for the continuity and the bringing up generations, for true pleasures, for spreading love and for reforming of the societies.



Woman is a reflection of God’s beauty and is the source of love and caring. She is the guardian of purity and exquisiteness of the society.

The tendency to toughen the souls and behaviors of women deprives them from their very basic right of being a loving mother and a caring wife. It would result in a more violent society with irreversible defects.



Freedom is a divine right that should serve peace and human perfection.



Pure thoughts and the will of the righteous are keys to the gates of a pure life full of hope, liveliness and beauty.



This is the promise of God that the earth will be inherited by the pure and the righteous. And the people free from selfishness will take up the management of the world. Who not to vote for in RI’s elections

If anything the elections in RI have quite a few candidates who are pieces of shit, and represent everything people hate about government. However, there are some that are worse than the rest.
The most obvious is that sodomite in the providence mayor’s office, sissyweenie. Not only has he run the city of providence into the ground, turning it into a hellhole of a powderkeg but when he was a state representative he came out as being gay only when confronted by accusations of molesting other men with his pals. Not to mention his brother is doing time for federal violations, serious ones. Now he’s running for congress. Folks, the last thing congress needs is another embarrassment like this.
Almost as bad is linc chafee. The former Warwick mayor and us senator is now running as an independent for RI governor. Though he comes across as a nice guy he has many crooked cronies who he associates with. Recently he appointed one of them to his campaign staff, former RI district court judge erickson. RI’s district court has in recent years degenerated into a circus and focus for discontent, which erickson has only made worse by ordering people brought before him to undergo court ordered psychiatric screening, putting a burden on the medical system by putting people into programs they don’t need and which only make them worse. A linc chafee administration is an accident waiting to happen.
Though it seems like john robitaille does not stand a chance of winning in the governor’s race one better hope he doesn’t. He is a former board member of bradley hospital, who initiated DNA identification of kids there, believing that people in treatment for mental illness have hereditary problems. Anyone who has ever read “the double helix” on how watson and crick “discovered” the structure of DNA will learn that it is one of the greatest flukes of science and all time. Those kids never asked to be treated in such an invasive way and the use of DNA identification has a strong potential to be used for discrimination.
While I mentioned cronies one crony of linc chafee’s from the hope club is running for RI attorney general, steve archimbault, who is nothing more than a mediocre political hack and a crony, the last thing anyone needs.
Just as intense is the mayor’s race in Providence, so intense that the campaign staff for constantino and taveras forget their manners, particularly when on the premises of section 8 housing, making one wonder if their bad behavior is the fault of the staff or the candidates.

WASHINGTON, August 5, 2010 – The Defense Security Cooperation Agency
notified Congress today of a possible Foreign Military Sale to Israel of
unleaded gasoline, JP-8 aviation fuel and diesel fuel for an estimated
cost of $2 billion.
The Government of Israel has requested a possible sale of 60,000,000
gallons of unleaded gasoline, 284,000,000 gallons of JP-8 aviation jet
fuel, and 100,000,000 gallons of diesel fuel. The estimated cost is $2
billion.
This proposed sale will contribute to the foreign policy and national
security of the United States by helping to improve the security of a
friendly country which has been, and continues to be, an important force
for political stability and economic progress in the Middle East.
The proposed sale of the JP-8 aviation fuel will enable Israel to
maintain the operational capability of its aircraft inventory. The
unleaded gasoline and diesel fuel will be used for ground forces’
vehicles and other equipment used in keeping peace and security in the
region. Israel will have no difficulty absorbing this additional fuel
into its armed forces.
The proposed sale of these three types of fuel will not alter the basic
military balance in the region.
The vendors are unknown at this time due to the competitive bid process
for the supply source(s). There are no known offset agreements proposed
in connection with this potential sale.
Implementation of this proposed sale will not require the assignment of
any additional U.S. Government or contractor representatives to Israel.
There will be no adverse impact on U.S. defense readiness as a result of
this proposed sale.
This notice of a potential sale is required by law and does not mean the

The Billionaires Bankrolling the Tea Party

ANOTHER weekend, another grass-roots demonstration starring Real Americans who are mad as hell and want to take back their country from you-know-who. Last Sunday the site was Lower Manhattan, where they jeered the “ground zero mosque.” This weekend, the scene shifted to Washington, where the avatars of oppressed white Tea Party America, Glenn Beck and Sarah Palin, were slated to “reclaim the civil rights movement” (Beck’s words) on the same spot where the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. had his dream exactly 47 years earlier.

Vive la révolution!

There’s just one element missing from these snapshots of America’s ostensibly spontaneous and leaderless populist uprising: the sugar daddies who are bankrolling it, and have been doing so since well before the “death panel” warm-up acts of last summer. Three heavy hitters rule. You’ve heard of one of them, Rupert Murdoch. The other two, the brothers David and Charles Koch, are even richer, with a combined wealth exceeded only by that of Bill Gates and Warren Buffett among Americans. But even those carrying the Kochs’ banner may not know who these brothers are.

Their self-interested and at times radical agendas, like Murdoch’s, go well beyond, and sometimes counter to, the interests of those who serve as spear carriers in the political pageants hawked on Fox News. The country will be in for quite a ride should these potentates gain power, and given the recession-battered electorate’s unchecked anger and the Obama White House’s unfocused political strategy, they might.

All three tycoons are the latest incarnation of what the historian Kim Phillips-Fein labeled “Invisible Hands” in her prescient 2009 book of that title: those corporate players who have financed the far right ever since the du Pont brothers spawned the American Liberty League in 1934 to bring down F.D.R. You can draw a straight line from the Liberty League’s crusade against the New Deal “socialism” of Social Security, the Securities and Exchange Commission and child labor laws to the John Birch Society-Barry Goldwater assault on J.F.K. and Medicare to the Koch-Murdoch-backed juggernaut against our “socialist” president.

Only the fat cats change — not their methods and not their pet bugaboos (taxes, corporate regulation, organized labor, and government “handouts” to the poor, unemployed, ill and elderly). Even the sources of their fortunes remain fairly constant. Koch Industries began with oil in the 1930s and now also spews an array of industrial products, from Dixie cups to Lycra, not unlike DuPont’s portfolio of paint and plastics. Sometimes the biological DNA persists as well. The Koch brothers’ father, Fred, was among the select group chosen to serve on the Birch Society’s top governing body. In a recorded 1963 speech that survives in a University of Michigan archive, he can be heard warning of “a takeover” of America in which Communists would “infiltrate the highest offices of government in the U.S. until the president is a Communist, unknown to the rest of us.” That rant could be delivered as is at any Tea Party rally today.

Last week the Kochs were shoved unwillingly into the spotlight by the most comprehensive journalistic portrait of them yet, written by Jane Mayer of The New Yorker. Her article caused a stir among those in Manhattan’s liberal elite who didn’t know that David Koch, widely celebrated for his cultural philanthropy, is not merely another rich conservative Republican but the founder of the Americans for Prosperity Foundation, which, as Mayer writes with some understatement, “has worked closely with the Tea Party since the movement’s inception.” To New Yorkers who associate the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center with the New York City Ballet, it’s startling to learn that the Texas branch of that foundation’s political arm, known simply as Americans for Prosperity, gave its Blogger of the Year Award to an activist who had called President Obama “cokehead in chief.”

The other major sponsor of the Tea Party movement is Dick Armey’s FreedomWorks, which, like Americans for Prosperity, is promoting events in Washington this weekend. Under its original name, Citizens for a Sound Economy, FreedomWorks received $12 million of its own from Koch family foundations. Using tax records, Mayer found that Koch-controlled foundations gave out $196 million from 1998 to 2008, much of it to conservative causes and institutions. That figure doesn’t include $50 million in Koch Industries lobbying and $4.8 million in campaign contributions by its political action committee, putting it first among energy company peers like Exxon Mobil and Chevron. Since tax law permits anonymous personal donations to nonprofit political groups, these figures may understate the case. The Kochs surely match the in-kind donations the Tea Party receives in free promotion 24/7 from Murdoch’s Fox News, where both Beck and Palin are on the payroll.

The New Yorker article stirred up the right, too. Some of Mayer’s blogging detractors unwittingly upheld the premise of her article (titled “Covert Operations”) by conceding that they have been Koch grantees. None of them found any factual errors in her 10,000 words. Many of them tried to change the subject to George Soros, the billionaire backer of liberal causes. But Soros is a publicity hound who is transparent about where he shovels his money. And like many liberals — selflessly or foolishly, depending on your point of view — he supports causes that are unrelated to his business interests and that, if anything, raise his taxes.

This is hardly true of the Kochs. When David Koch ran to the right of Reagan as vice president on the 1980 Libertarian ticket (it polled 1 percent), his campaign called for the abolition not just of Social Security, federal regulatory agencies and welfare but also of the F.B.I., the C.I.A., and public schools — in other words, any government enterprise that would either inhibit his business profits or increase his taxes. He hasn’t changed. As Mayer details, Koch-supported lobbyists, foundations and political operatives are at the center of climate-science denial — a cause that forestalls threats to Koch Industries’ vast fossil fuel business. While Koch foundations donate to cancer hospitals like Memorial Sloan-Kettering in New York, Koch Industries has been lobbying to stop the Environmental Protection Agency from classifying another product important to its bottom line, formaldehyde, as a “known carcinogen” in humans (which it is).

Tea Partiers may share the Kochs’ detestation of taxes, big government and Obama. But there’s a difference between mainstream conservatism and a fringe agenda that tilts completely toward big business, whether on Wall Street or in the Gulf of Mexico, while dismantling fundamental government safety nets designed to protect the unemployed, public health, workplace safety and the subsistence of the elderly.

Yet inexorably the Koch agenda is morphing into the G.O.P. agenda, as articulated by current Republican members of Congress, including the putative next speaker of the House, John Boehner, and Tea Party Senate candidates like Rand Paul, Sharron Angle, and the new kid on the block, Alaska’s anti-Medicaid, anti-unemployment insurance Palin protégé, Joe Miller. Their program opposes a federal deficit, but has no objection to running up trillions in red ink in tax cuts to corporations and the superrich; apologizes to corporate malefactors like BP and derides money put in escrow for oil spill victims as a “slush fund”; opposes the extension of unemployment benefits; and calls for a freeze on federal regulations in an era when abuses in the oil, financial, mining, pharmaceutical and even egg industries (among others) have been outrageous.

The Koch brothers must be laughing all the way to the bank knowing that working Americans are aiding and abetting their selfish interests. And surely Murdoch is snickering at those protesting the “ground zero mosque.” Last week on “Fox and Friends,” the Bush administration flacks Dan Senor and Dana Perino attacked a supposedly terrorism-tainted Saudi prince whose foundation might contribute to the Islamic center. But as “The Daily Show” keeps pointing out, these Fox bloviators never acknowledge that the evil prince they’re bashing, Walid bin Talal, is not only the biggest non-Murdoch shareholder in Fox News’s parent company (he owns 7 percent of News Corporation) and the recipient of Murdoch mammoth investments in Saudi Arabia but also the subject of lionization elsewhere on Fox.

No less a Murdoch factotum than Neil Cavuto slobbered over bin Talal in a Fox Business Channel interview as recently as January, with nary a question about his supposed terrorist ties. Instead, bin Talal praised Obama’s stance on terrorism and even endorsed the Democrats’ goal of universal health insurance. Do any of the Fox-watching protestors at the “ground zero mosque” know that Fox’s profits are flowing to a Obama-sympathizing Saudi billionaire in bed with Murdoch? As Jon Stewart summed it up, the protestors who want “to cut off funding to the ‘terror mosque’ ” are aiding that funding by watching Fox and enhancing bin Talal’s News Corp. holdings.

When wolves of Murdoch’s ingenuity and the Kochs’ stealth have been at the door of our democracy in the past, Democrats have fought back fiercely. Franklin Roosevelt’s triumphant 1936 re-election campaign pummeled the Liberty League as a Republican ally eager to “squeeze the worker dry in his old age and cast him like an orange rind into the refuse pail.” When John Kennedy’s patriotism was assailed by Birchers calling for impeachment, he gave a major speech denouncing their “crusades of suspicion.”

And Obama? So far, sadly, this question answers itself.

ISRAEL Issued a 1 oz. Gold Bullion coin in 2010 with an image of a holy site in Jerusalem and there are plans to start a series of Gold Bullion coins. The mintage is strictly limited and advertising, like the American premiere of this coin at the ANA in Boston, is targeted at jewish people and Zionists, which demonstrates the Israelis may be aware this Bullion coin may become a flop. Interestingly enough they are seeking buyers from people who lost money in the madoff ponzi scheme.
Oddly enough there has been no news of countries like India, Japan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, South Korea, Singapore, have not tried to issue Bullion coinage, if they did they could really have an impact on the World economy.

Der hundenkanzellor, the new world order, and shit u

Recently one of my few contacts at the watosn institute gave me some copies of their latest issue of briefings. On page 19 there is an article about watson's world leaders in residence. In that article hundenkanzellor gusenbauer is quoted as saying "The challenge ahead is to create a new world order without a world war." Even more telling is that the watson institute no longer puts copies of their briefings newsletters on their website. If this does not wake people up to the true evil nature of shit u then what will?

Outcome of last night's governor's forum/debate

I was at last night's SOS governor's candidate forum on the Mental
Health system. It was good to see most of the candidates were allowed
to attend, and that people were able to find their way to the event.
I was suprised to notice the two leading candidates, Caprio and Chafee,
tended to be off focus during the event, while the other candidates
offered more creative answers. Despite the time constraints and some
well prepared questions no real curveball questions that would have put
the candidates on the spot were asked.
Recently when viewing the candidates websites which NAMI linked in their
notice I noticed something very attention getting. Today bill clinton
is in providence stumping for Caprio. While I have had issues with
Chafee over his connections to the clintons, including his brown
connections with the clintons and their associates, I certainly hope
Caprio is able to address issues concerning the clintons which other
candidates have not.
Also to my suprise I noticed the RISD security officer left seconds
after I made my early exit, the result of having left food in my freezer
for too long and not, unlike the snub I did wheholbrooke gave his speech
nearby in 2007, to disrespect anyone.

Castro: War on Iran 'Imminent'

July 13, 2010 "Morning Star" -- Cuban revolutionary Fidel Castro warned on Monday that a US-Israeli attack on Iran is "imminent" and predicted that this could trigger a global nuclear war.

In a special appearance on state-run television for the first time in nearly a year, the Communist leader described US and Israeli sabre-rattling over Iran's civil nuclear energy programme as "the most serious crisis" on the international scene because "the Iranian government will not retreat."

"The Iranians have been preparing themselves for 30 years, and have acquired all the Russian and Chinese aeroplanes and weapons necessary for their defence," Mr Castro said.

"They are training all people between the ages of 12 and 60 - just the Guardians of the Revolution have a million members," he added.

And Mr Castro insisted that the US sank the South Korean Cheonan warship in order to justify an attack on the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

He said that "in the face of a massive attack against Iran, North Korea will not wait to be attacked, and a nuclear war will also break out in that zone.

"When they decide to attack Iran, one war after the other will be unleashed," he declared.

The veteran Communist spoke out at a delicate time politically for Cuba, as it begins releasing 52 prisoners under a landmark deal brokered with Spanish officials and the Catholic church last week.

The men were all arrested in a crackdown on US-backed subversion in 2003.

The Origin of Wars

I affirmed on July 4 that neither the United States nor Iran would give in; "one, due to the pride of the powerful, and the other, out of resistance to the yoke and the capacity to fight, as has occurred so many times in the history of humanity..."

In almost all wars, one of the parties wishes to avoid them, and sometimes, both. On this occasion, it would come about even though one of the parties does not wish it, as happened in the two World Wars in 1914 and 1939, with only 25 years of distance before the first outbreak and the second.

The slaughters were horrific, they would not have been unleashed without prior errors of calculation. The two parties were defending imperialist interests and they believed that they would obtain their objectives without the terrible cost that that implied.

In the case that concerns us: one of them is defending national, absolutely just interests. The other is pursuing illegitimate intentions and crude material interests.

If we analyze all the wars that have taken place, starting from the known history of our species, one of the parties has sought those objectives.

Any illusion that, on this occasion, such objectives will be reached without the most terrible of all wars is absolutely vain.

In one of the best articles published by the Global Research website on Thursday, July 1, signed by Rick Rozoff, he provides abundant indisputable arguments on the United States intentions, of which any well-informed person must be aware.

"... Victory can be attained when an adversary knows it is vulnerable to an instantaneous and undetectable, overwhelming and devastating attack without the ability to defend itself or retaliate," is what the United States thinks, according to the author.

"... A country which aspires to remain the only state in history to wield full spectrum military dominance on land, in the air, on the seas and in space."

"... To maintain and extend military bases and troops, aircraft carrier battle groups and strategic bombers on and to most every latitude and longitude. To do so with a post-World War II record war budget of $708 billion for next year."

It was "... the first country to develop and use nuclear weapons..."

"... the U.S. retains 1,550 deployed nuclear warheads and 2,200 (by some counts 3,500) more in storage and a triad of land, air and submarine delivery vehicles."

"The non-nuclear arsenal used for disabling and destroying the air defenses and strategic, potentially all major, military forces of other nations will consist of intercontinental ballistic missiles, adapted submarine-launched ballistic missiles, hypersonic cruise missiles and bombers, and super stealthy strategic bombers able to avoid detection by radar and thus evade ground- and air-based defenses."

Rozoff lists the many press conferences, meetings and statements of Joint Chiefs of Staff and high-ranking members of the government of the United States in the last few months.

He explains the commitments to NATO and the reinforced cooperation with Near East allies, primarily, read Israel. He says, "The U.S. is also intensifying space and cyber warfare programs with the potential to completely shut down other nations' military surveillance and command, control, communications, computer and intelligence systems, rendering them defenseless on any but the most basic tactical level."

He speaks of the signing in Prague, on April 8 of this year, of the new START Treaty between Russia and the United States, which "does not contain any constraints on current or planned U.S. conventional prompt global strike capability."

He refers to countless news items on the subject and illustrates the intentions of the United States with one overwhelming example.

He notes that "... 'The Department of Defense is currently exploring the full range of technologies and systems for a Conventional Prompt Global Strike (CPGS) capability that could provide the President more credible and technically suitable options for dealing with new and evolving threats."

I maintain the opinion that any president whosoever, not even the most expert military chief, would not have one minute to know what should be done if it was not already programmed on computers.

Imperturbably, Rozoff relates what the Global Security Network affirms in an analysis titled: "'Cost to test U.S. global-strike missile could reach $500 million,'" by Elaine Grossman.

"'The Obama administration has requested $239.9 million for prompt global strike research and development across the military services in fiscal 2011... If funding levels remain as anticipated into the coming years, the Pentagon will have spent some $2 billion on prompt global strike by the end of fiscal 2015, according to budget documents submitted last month to Capitol Hill.'"

"A terrifying scenario comparable to the effects of a PGS attack, in this case the sea-based version, appeared three years ago in Popular Mechanics:

"'In the Pacific, a nuclear-powered Ohio class submarine surfaces, ready for the president's command to launch. When the order comes, the sub shoots a 65-ton Trident II ballistic missile into the sky. Within 2 minutes, the missile is traveling at more than 20,000 ft. per second. Up and over the oceans and out of the atmosphere it soars for thousands of miles.

"'At the top of its parabola, hanging in space, the Trident's four warheads separate and begin their screaming descent down toward the planet.

"'Traveling as fast as 13,000 mph, the warheads are filled with scored tungsten rods with twice the strength of steel.

"'Just above the target, the warheads detonate, showering the area with thousands of rods-each one up to 12 times as destructive as a .50-caliber bullet. Anything within 3,000 sq. ft. of this whirling, metallic storm is obliterated.'"

Rozoff immediately explains the April 7 statement of General Leonid Ivashov, joint chief of staff of the Russian armed forces, made in a column entitled "Obama's nuclear surprise."

In that same column Ivashov, refers to the speech by the U.S. president in Prague last year: "The existence of thousands of nuclear weapons is the most dangerous legacy of the Cold War" and his signing of the START II agreement in that same city on April 8, Rozoff quotes the author, who stated:

"'No examples of sacrificial service of the U.S. elites to mankind or peoples of other countries can be discovered in the U.S. history over the past century. Would it be realistic to expect the advent of an African-American president to the White House to change the country's political philosophy traditionally aimed at achieving global dominance? Those believing that something like that is possible should try to realize why the U.S. the country with a military budget already greater than those of all other countries of the world combined continues spending enormous sums of money on preparations for war.'"

"... 'The Prompt Global Strike concept envisages a concentrated strike using several thousand precision conventional weapons in 2-4 hours that would completely destroy the critical infrastructures of the target country and thus force it to capitulate.'"

"'The Prompt Global Strike concept is meant to sustain the U.S. monopoly in the military sphere and to widen the gap between it and the rest of the world. Combined with the deployment of the missile defense supposed to keep the U.S. immune to retaliatory strikes from Russia and China, the Prompt Global Strike initiative is going to turn Washington into a modern era global dictator.'"

"'In essence, the new U.S. nuclear doctrine is an element of the novel U.S. security strategy that would be more adequately described as the strategy of total impunity. The U.S. is boosting its military budget, unleashing NATO as the global gendarme, and planning real-life exercise in Iran to test the efficiency of the Prompt Global Strike initiative in practice. At the same time, Washington is talking about the completely nuclear-free world.'"

In essence, Obama is trying to deceive the world by talking of a humanity free of nuclear weapons, which would be replaced by other extremely destructive ones, ideal for terrorizing state leaders and achieving the new strategy of total impunity.

The yankis believe that Iran's rendition is already close. The European Union is expected to announce a sanctions package of its own to be signed on July 26.

The last meeting of the 5+1 took place on July 2, after Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad affirmed that "his country would return to talks at the end of August with the participation of Brazil and Turkey."

A high-ranking E.U. official "stated that neither Brazil nor Turkey will be invited to take part in talks, at least not at this level."

"Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki stated that he was in favor of defying international sanctions and continuing with the enriched uranium program."

From Tuesday, July 5, in the face of the European reiteration that they are to promote additional measures against Iran, this country has responded that it will not negotiate until September.

Every day the possibilities of overcoming the insurmountable obstacle are reducing further.

What is going to happen is so evident that it can be foreseen in an almost exact form.

For my part, I must make a self-criticism; I committed an error in affirming in the June 27 Reflection that the conflict would break out on the Thursday, Friday or at the latest Saturday. It was already known that Israeli warships were navigating toward that objective together with the yanki naval forces. The order to search Iranian merchant ships was already given.

However, I did not realize that there was a prior step: confirmation of the negation of permission for the inspection of its mercantile fleet on the part of Iran. In analyzing the torturous language of the Security Council imposing sanctions on that country, I did not notice that detail to give the inspection order full effect. It was the only thing missing.

The 60-day period given by the Security Council on June 9 to receive information on compliance with the Resolution expires on August 8.

But something really most lamentable happened. I was working on the latest material on the delicate issue drafted by the Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the said document did not contain two key paragraphs the last two of the abovementioned resolution which textually state:

"Requests within 90 days a report from the Director General of the IAEA on whether Iran has established full and sustained suspension of all activities mentioned in resolution 1737 (2006), as well as on the process of Iranian compliance with all the steps required by the IAEA Board of Governors and with other provisions of resolutions 1737 (2006), 1747 (2007), 1803 (2008) and of this resolution, to the IAEA Board of Governors and in parallel to the Security Council for its consideration;

"Affirms that it shall review Irans actions in light of the report referred to in paragraph 36 above, to be submitted within 90 days, and:

(a) that it shall suspend the implementation of measures if and for so long as Iran suspends all enrichment-related and reprocessing activities, including research and development, as verified by the IAEA, to allow for negotiations in good faith in order to reach an early and mutually acceptable outcome;

(b) that it shall terminate the measures specified in paragraphs 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 12 of resolution 1737 (2006), as well as in paragraphs 2, 4, 5, 6 and 7 of resolution 1747 (2007), paragraphs 3, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 of resolution 1803 (2008), and in paragraphs 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 21, 22, 23 and 24 above, as soon as it determines, following receipt of the report referred to in the paragraph above, that Iran has fully complied with its obligations under the relevant resolutions of the Security Council and met the requirements of the IAEA Board of Governors, as confirmed by the IAEA Board of Governors;

(c) that it shall, in the event that the report shows that Iran has not complied with resolutions 1737 (2006), 1747 (2007), 1803 (2008) and this resolution, adopt further appropriate measures under Article 41 of Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations to persuade Iran to comply with these resolutions and the requirements of the IAEA, and underlines that further decisions will be required should such additional measures be necessary..."

A compañero from the Ministry, after the exhausting work of many hours at the machine making photocopies of all the documents, fell asleep. My eagerness in seeking out information and exchanging points of view on these delicate issues, made it possible for me to discover this omission.

From my point of view, the United States and its NATO allies have said their last word. Two powerful states with authority and prestige did not exercise their right to veto the perfidious U.N. resolution.

It was the only possibility of gaining time to seek some formula for saving the peace, an objective that would have afforded them greater authority to continue fighting for it.

Today, everything is hanging from a tenuous thread.

My principal intention was to advise international public opinion of what was occurring.

I have in part achieved that by observing what was taking place, as a political leader who, for many years, has been confronting the empire, its blockades and its indescribable crimes. But I am not doing it out of revenge.

I am not hesitating to run the risks of compromising my modest moral authority.

I shall continue writing Reflections on the subject. There will be a number more after this one in order to continue going more profoundly into it in July and August, unless some incident occurs to trigger the deadly weapons currently pointed at each other.

I have very much enjoyed the final games of the World Cup and the volleyball games, in which our valiant team is marching at the head of its group in the World League of that sport.

'US will attack Iran if it must'

There is wide support in Congress for using all means to keep Iran from
becoming a nuclear power, “through diplomatic and economic sanctions
if we possibly can, through military actions if we must,” visiting US
Senator Joe Lieberman (I-CT) said Wednesday in Jerusalem.

Lieberman, flanked at a Jerusalem press conference by his senate
colleagues John McCain (R-AZ) and Lindsey Graham (R-SC), used very tough
language, saying the words “military action” in regards to stopping
Iran’s nuclear program. Most US officials opt to tiptoe around the
subject, saying “no options are off the table.”

Lieberman said that “a certain trumpet needs to sounded here for the
Iranian regime to hear.”

He said the sanctions Congress recently passed against Iran were meant
to signal to Teheran to “negotiate the end of their nuclear program
and re-entry into the civilized world, if that is possible. But if not,
they should know that when Congress says it is unacceptable to get
nuclear weapons, we mean it. We hope economic and diplomatic power will
work, but if we must use force, that must remain a very active
option.”

Regarding Tuesday’s friendly meeting in Washington between Prime
Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and US President Barack Obama, Lieberman –
based on reports he heard from people there – said “it was a
positive meeting, and we can say with some encouragement that the
relationship between the US and Israel is back on track.”

Lieberman, acknowledging that the past year was a “difficult one” in
the US-Israel relationship, said that even during this period “the
members of Congress across party lines continued to both feel and
express strong support for the security of the State of Israel, and for
the relationship.”

Graham was even blunter.

“The Congress has Israel’s back,” he said, “and never
misunderstand that. Whatever relationship problems we have had in the
past, it has never seeped over into Congress. The Congress has been
united in protection of one of our best allies in the world, the State
of Israel.”

Regarding another American ally, Turkey, McCain – referring to both
Ankara’s vote against Iran sanctions at the UN and its hostile
rhetoric toward Israel – said he has been “disappointed recently”
by Turkey’s “actions and words.”

At the same time, he said, Turkey is an old and close ally with whom the
US has common interests.

“I hope that at some point the Turkish leadership would lower the
rhetoric, reduce it to the point where we can try to solve differences
in a quiet and diplomatic way,” McCain said.

Asked what would happen to US-Turkish ties if Ankara severed, as it has
threatened to do, its ties with Israel, McCain replied, “obviously it
wouldn’t be helpful. I hope this won’t be the case. I hope that
there will be conversations.” Saying that the Israeli-Turkish
relationship has “contributed to stability in the Middle East,”
McCain said he found the situation “disturbing,” and said he hoped
the US could play an “interlocutor role to bridge some of these
differences.”

Fundamentally, McCain said, Turkey remains a secular nation that has
“contributed enormously to peace in the region and the world.”

All three senators, who met during their two-day stay with Defense
Minister Ehud Barak and Chief of General Staff Lt.-Gen. Gabi Ashkenazi,
as well as with Palestinian Authority Prime Minister Salam Fayyad,
praised the US-trained PA security forces.

McCain, in an apparent reference to talk about putting PA security
forces at border crossings from Israel into Gaza, said the willingness
of Israel to discuss this issue showed the confidence Israel had in
these forces as well.
